Saturday 6th December - our CHRISTMAS LUNCH at The Dover Castle, Teynham.  Space is limited - make your provisional bookings with Marion Clark (01795 521499) as early as you wish.

SO, WHAT HAVE WE BEEN DOING?

Our Quiz (which for no good reason we labelled '(K)NOSH and KNOWLEDGE' this time)  held on 26th April at Bapchild,  was enjoyed by 107 members and friends.  Visitors from the Faversham Branch of the Association won (despite the best efforts of the rest of us!)  Your question -master found this to be one of the noisiest events he had experienced but no doubt hubbub equates with fun.  Thanks to the generosity of those who supported us we generated a sum well in excess of £500 for charity.

Sadly our regular, annual WALK - set for 10th May - had to be cancelled.  Our experienced organiser, Brian Johnson was ill and spent over three weeks in hospital.  He is now back home and feeling much more like his old self.

The Association's 'central' AGM etc is being held this year in Dover on Saturday 21st June.  Full details of the day's programme will reach members with their next KENT magazine.

The Association will be represented at the Kent Show at Detling on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; - 11th to 13th July.  The show is always worth a visit - look in on our stand when you're there.
