The Lynsted Branch 32nd Annual General Meeting took place at the Black Lion at Lynsted on Friday 25th March. Only 17 people attended which was quite disappointing as there are around 60 members in the Branch.
Nevertheless, it was a most enjoyable evening as after the formalities of the meeting were over, we were pleased to greet Mr George Wildridge, a volunteer speaker from the Kent Air Ambulance Trust who gave a very interesting talk and slide show all about the history and work of our county Air Ambulance. Coffee and biscuits were served later and Air Ambulance souvenirs were on sale.
The Chairman also presented Mr Wildridge with a cheque for £200 by way of donation which was gratefully received.
