Sunday, 25th July - Ray And Marian Clark once again hosted an excellent Summer Lunch at their home, White Chimneys at Lynsted. 38 people attended, not as many as in previous years, but everyone enjoyed a very tasty lunch. A variety of dishes were offered, all prepared by Marian and other lady members. Ray was again in charge of the barbecue offering suasages, chicken and burgers.
The weather was again very kind to us and those present enjoyed good food, good company and perhaps a glass or two in the delightful garden of White Chimneys. Our thanks go once again to Ray and Marian for their hospitality.
The raffle was very generously supported, both by prize donations and ticket purchases and raised a good sum for the Branch charitable fund.
