Newnham Village Open Gardens

Members may be interested to know of the Newnham Village Open Gardens day which takes place on 7th June 2009.  12 village gardens will be open to the public.  A Pimms event, celebrating Newnham village's famous son, James Pimm, Ploughman's Lunches and beers brewed in the village will be available.

The recently restored church bells will be rung for the first time during the day by various grous of visiting teams.

Lunches and drinks will be available from 12 noon.  Gardens will open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and afternoon teas will be available.

Tickets at £4 for adults (accompanied children - free) are available from any of the open gardens on the day and all proceeds will go to charity.
